CFB Teens is a class programmed exclusively for teen athletes (13-17 years old). The focus of our Teen Program is to introduce teens to CrossFit-style training while making exercise fun! CFB Teens will learn how to lift weights properly, move well, have fun, and feel and see the positive impact that CrossFit-style training has on their lives! This class is for Teens of all ability levels and is for both male and female teens! CrossFit Teens can function as a great exercise regiment for Teens looking to improve athleticism and build strength. it is also a great tool for Middle and High School athletes to supplement their sports with strength and conditioning. Our CFB Teen Coaches have experience working with athletes of all backgrounds and abilities. No matter what their goal is we have a method for helping them reach it!

The cost is $180/ month. Membership operates on a month-to-month commitment.

Or maybe you just want to improve overall body awareness, strength, and mobility. If so, then CrossFit Burke’s Gymnastics Club focuses on a variety of bodyweight movements for athletes with different levels of skill and strength! Sign up now and let the work begin!
Our athletes start by building foundation of general strength geared towards controlling the body. After a strong foundation is built our training narrows it’s focus towards specific strength and skills. CrossFit Burke’s Gymnastic’s Club offers two levels of classes that accommodate all skill levels. No matter what program an athlete may participate in, all follow this same process relative to their groups’ particular focus. All programs include mobility work targeted at generic restoration of the body.
The club will include two separate programs. FOUNDATION: STRENGTH will be for beginners that have a few pullups and pushups or, none at all. Athletes in this program focus on developing body awareness, balance, strength, and muscular endurance in the form of pullups/chin ups, pushups, core work, and handstands. FOUNDATION; SKILL is for intermediate athletes that have roughly FIVE good strict pullups and TEN good chest-to-deck pushups that want to learn the fundamentals of the kip for the bar and handstand pushups. Athletes in this program focus on developing body awareness, balance, strength, power, and muscular endurance in the form of kipping pullups, C2B pullups, butterfly pullups, toes-to-bar, dips, handstands, handstand pushups, and core work.
Athletes will select the class that best focuses on their athletic needs/ skill levels. Class will be held once a week (60 minutes) and will be given approximately 2 hours of homework per week. Homework workouts may be completed however the athletes choose. Video demos, descriptions, and instructions will be provided for all exercises and workouts and coaches will be accessible when needed.

MIXED CLASS – FOUNDATION: STRENGTH/ SKILL – Wednesday 10:30am
FOUNDATION; SKILL – Wednesday 6:30pm

Do you want to become more efficient at Olympic Weightlifting? Then the CrossFit Burke Barbell club is for you! Barbell Club is for both experienced and new weightlifters. Our approach to coaching and programming ensures every athlete will be challenged no matter their skill level and will come away from the six-week cycle stronger and more efficient in snatch and clean and jerk. Barbell club will not only get your snatch and clean and jerk up to par but refine other movements as well. Barbell Club members will receive instruction aimed at improving traditional strength movements such as presses and squats. The program aims to greatly improve overall leg strength. Additionally, training homework will be given to complete during non-Barbell Club days on top of class 2x per week. Every Barbell Club member has an Open Gym membership to accommodate the homework training requirements.
At the end of Barbell Club there will be an in-house Weightlifting Meet for the Barbell Club members to test how they’ve improved. Participation will be optional. The meet will be organized and lead by Barbell Club Head Coach Joe Mackie to guide each athlete through what may be his or her first Olympic Weightlifting meet.

The cost for the 6 Week Program is $150
November 12th 1:00-2:30pm OR December 3rd 1:00-2:30pm
Participants will learn about proper body position and movement for various styles of jump ropes and jump roping, how to move most efficiently, and the proper progressions to advance from one level competency to the next. All levels of ability are welcomed and will be able to take away valuable information from the clinic. Every participant will be taught and practice the fundamentals of rope work. Athletes that struggle with singles will benefit from this clinic and athletes with doubles can refine technique!
NOTE: The November clinic is full. If signing up for the December clinic, be sure to select the “Dec. 3, 2017” registration link and not the November one.

The cost of the course is $120.00. If you are enrolling more than one kid, please enroll all of your kids then e-mail email@example.com so we can provide your second or more kid discount of $20. We will need all of the kid’s names to verify the discount.
We will not be having class on November 4th or November 25th.
Weekly Sunday Run at Burke Lake
Every Sunday you can join a group of CFB members and run around Burke Lake. Meet at the Marina at 8:30am.
